Ibiza Old Town Dalt Villa

The walled part of the city of Ibiza, known as Dalt Villa, is reached thru the gate know as the Portal de ses Taules, this whole area is now preserved and you walk amongst homes and streets over 1200 years old, the streets are very steep but well worth the effort, there are a number of cafes on the way up so there is plenty of opportunities to stop, rest and take some pictures, while browsing the many boutique shops set into the villas on ground level. Views from the top of the hill are spectacular and well worth the effort. Villa in this area are quaint, usually small and require you to get your luggage up steep steps, so be warned!

The pictures below show Dalt Villa from the ocean, they were taken while on the ferry which you can get from the center of ibiza and for about 2 euro you can explore the areas of marina Botafoch, talamancia or just do a return trip for a quick hours sightseeing, the ferry leaves every 30 minutes, pay on boarding.
